While I do love a good red lip from time to time, nude and blush tone colors are my favorite for every day wear. They’re neutral, so they go with any beauty look from a smokey eye to no makeup at all. Finding the right nude isn’t simple. Too fleshy and you risk looking like a dead person, too shimmery and it’s like being back at prom. The right nude should plump your lips and compliment your complexion, working with the rest of your makeup to finish off the perfect, peachy glow. I like to start with Lancome’s Le Contour Pro Lip pencil in Rose Boise – it matches nearly every nude lip color. Then I’ll usually blend a few shades together, like Sensual by Laura Mercier and Buenos Aires by Nars. It feels so moisturizing and the color looks extra warm when you blend them!
