As part of my NYFW series with TRESemmé, I got an exclusive sneak peek at how Lead Stylist for TRESemmé, Jeanie Syfu, created her version of a city-swept ponytail for Banana Republic’s lovely presentation. Pieces were beautifully tailored and warm, and the hair by TRESemmé perfectly complemented the layered looks on the runway.
Recreate the look at home with Jeanie’s simple step-by-step instructions:
STEP 1: Prep the hair with the Perfectly (un)Done Sea Foam. Then, layer hair with the Perfectly (un)Done Sea Salt Spray.
STEP 2: Scrunch everything together with a blow-dryer.
STEP 3: Use your curling iron, and grab random vertical sections of the hair, winding strands around the barrel once.
STEP 4: Pull out the windblown pieces, and lock everything in with the Perfectly (un)Done Ultra-Brushable Hold Hairspray.
