It’s safe to say that every girl needs a great selection of denim shorts to take her from spring to summer and beyond, but I’ve recently started experimenting how I style mine, and seeing if I can contrast dressier pieces with my cut-offs. While in Miami, I wore this low-slung, ripped pair fromn:Philanthropy with a bright snake-print tank and some dressy sandals (love the white lace-up front – and for any of you eagle eyes out there, these are the same Senso pair I wear on the cover of my book, Front Roe!). The final result was warm-weather ready and perfect for brunch, strolling around town, or hanging poolside (or, all three!).

Today, I went to the beach with my kids. I found a sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said “You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.” She put the shell to her ear and screamed.
