“What would you wear to an interview for a job in a boutique?” — @lauraaa
For any interview, it’s best to show up polished and groomed. That means no chipped nail polish, hair clean and blown-out, and a little makeup. Closed-toe heels are more formal than open sandals, and keep your clothes fitted, but not too tight or short. Check out the style of the boutique’s clothing, and try to dress in the same manner. You want your clothes to show off your personality, but also to prove you’d fit in really well at the company. Avoid jeans, but try cropped pants, a knee-length a-line skirt or a printed dress. And take your boldest, brightest small handbag (with a strap, don’t take a clutch) – that will show off your personal style and hopefully become a talking point.
