As you read this, I’ve just landed in New York for exciting fashion week, but I wanted to share my most recent shoot with you, from Downtown LA.
You guys know I love a leather skirt; they’re perfect for meetings, dinners, drinks… and paired with the right extras, a leather pencil skirt can also transition to more low-key outfits.
On a recent afternoon out and about in LA’s Arts District, I paired this oxblood (note: such a great color to pair with neutrals or black) skirt with a sweatshirt from my friend and designer, Anine Bing. All of her pieces are genius, everyday chic pieces. I kept the pumps color-coordinated, and the jewelry delicate. Finished off with a soft, tonal bag – how cute is this suede blush? I’m all set for fashion week. Ahem…with the addition of several coats, scarves and hats – snow, I’m coming for you!
