Having fresh flowers in your home is a treat that I believe everyone should indulge in. I often buy a handful of blooms from Trader Joe’s to brighten a room, but I recently learned a trick that has inspired me to create my own little arrangements. I love a more undone, organic look, and discovered that a little chicken wire folded into the base of your vase will easily hold your flower stems, allowing you to artfully compose charmingly imperfect bouquets.
I created this little arrangement out of early fall calla lillies, eucalyptus and greenery. The long, lazy stems looked perfectly undone in my porcelain vase (similar styles here and below).
