On Sunday was my 5th time hosting the Oscars red carpet for Access Hollywood, and it was as dazzling and entertaining as ever. I was so thrilled to wear one of my favorite red carpet looks yet – dazzling Fabergé jewelry, a cropped Pronovias gown with a matching headpiece, and Jimmy Choo accessories. Since my heels and clutch were a gorgeous deep burgundy, I loved the touch of Gemfields responsibly sourced rubies from Mozambique – they really tied my look together.
The chandelier earrings and statement ring added to the vintage vibe of my look, tying in my turban-inspired headpiece and the silhouette of my gown. If you guys have been following along on my journey through awards season, you’ve probably seen me wearing gorgeous Gemfields jewels at each awards show I attended. I’m very passionate about wearing pieces that are responsibly sourced, and Gemfields goes to great lengths to ensure that their gemstones are mined responsibly and fairly. I also attended an event hosted by Gemfields the Friday before the Oscars, where I interviewed actress Ruth Negga, who has also been passionate about the project and worn the brand to each of the awards shows.
