Getting Ready With Vogue!

As you guys may know, I got my start at British, where I was News Editor and the host of Vogue TV, when it very first launched. So, it’s a very special publication to me. Not only does it represent absolute excellence in the fashion world, but it gave me my wings when I was starting my career! I was so excited to have the opportunity to work with them on creating this video back in London recently, where I talk about the importance of rituals and balance in my crazy, hectic life.

I’m always on an airplane, jetting around the globe working on project after project, but I always try to take a few moments to myself wherever I am – to press the “reset” button (especially after a long shoot or flight). A few things that I do to re-center myself are to have a cup of tea, do a face mask, meditate for a few minutes, and even try on clothes! I know it sounds silly, but trying on outfits makes me feel happy and creative. I’ve made a bit of a ritual out of these few habits over the years, as they’re so easy to do in my hotel room when I’m away.

In the video, I also talk about my passion for responsibly sourced gemstones, and why it’s so important to know where your jewelry comes from. Watch the full video below!
