A few weeks ago I had the honor of hosting an intimate dinner with some of my fellow bloggers at the most beautiful venue – Big Daddy’s Antiques. It’s quite possible that you’ve seen photos of Big Daddy’s on Pinterest or Instagram. They’re a massive antiques showroom that is like a furniture lover’s playground, full from corner to corner with one of a kind vintage finds. I attended an event there a while back and fell in love, and always hoped to host my own little party there one day.
I recently had the opportunity to make that dream come true, and invited some of my oldest and newest friends in the blogging world to join me. As you guys might know, I’m an ambassador for Step Up Women’s Network which mentors young girls, and I felt like I wanted to share information about the charity with this amazing group of women. With everything going on in the world right now, it’s the perfect moment for people to come together and raise up their communities by getting involved. If the Women’s March on Washington showed us anything, it’s that women can organize huge movement and change when we support one another.
