Braving The Sales In This Simple Weekend Outfit

This is certainly the time of year for major sales and shopping, and while I do love gifting to all my loved ones over the holidays, shopping can tend to feel like a job in itself. When you work full time or even if you care for little ones, sometimes shopping is the absolute last thing you want to do in your spare time. Today I hit a few of the big sales happening after Thanksgiving but I was absolutely beat from a stressful week, so I wanted to wear the most simple weekend outfit ever to maximize comfiness and boost my state of mind for battling the crowds. I’ll be heading home to England in just about 2 weeks now, so unfortunately I couldn’t afford to just stay at home in my PJ’s this weekend!

The weather in LA is pretty tame at the moment – just warm enough to wear sandals during the day, but nice and chilly at night. Perfect for light layering with this easy sweater and jeans. I also couldn’t be bothered to do much with my hair and makeup while I braved all the holiday shoppers this weekend, so I scooped up my hair into a ponytail (which thankfully still has a nice wave in it from Friday night!) and threw on a pair of sunnies.

I’m also so proud of my friend Marianna Hewitt – this bag is from her new line Dagne Dover, and I absolutely love it. It’s not only made from yummy pebbled leather in a gorgeous color combo, but it’s also the perfect size for housing all your essentials and running around over the weekend. Congrats babe!
