I’ve been a die-hard stripe fan since before I can remember. They’re always going to be on-trend, a classic timeless print that won’t date, so is worth the investment. Stripes are (almost) always flattering, too. Forget that old myth that horizontal stripes make you wider, it’s all about the fabric, the thickness of the stripe, and how you choose to style the whole look, that matters. Just the other day, I was heading to a meeting on a grey, windy day in LA, and while I decided to wear my go-to black skinnies, I wanted to elevate my jeans a bit. To amp things up, I opted for nude details that I knew would contrast perfectly against black, like this super-soft striped tee and wide-brim fedora. Last but definitely not least, I finished with a high-shine pair of copper heels (obsessed with these!) and some delicate stacking rings. The heels and hat make these stripes more dressed up, but switch them out for a beanie and a white tennis shoe, and my stripes are suddenly super easy and laid-back. How do you guys style your stripes?
