“What can I wear that is warm but elegant?” – Sara
Coincidently, I was just asking myself this question while in New York for Fashion Week. The weather was colder than ever, and with blizzards every day, trying to dress cute was a total challenge…my fingers literally went numb every time I stepped outside! For weather like this, colors like dove grey and denim are a match made in heaven – not too dark to feel drab and wintery, but not too bright to be considered summer or spring shades. I also always make sure to layer – this way, you can peel off the extra coats when you’re inside, and pile them back on when you’re headed out to brave the weather. And, last but definitely not least, comfort is key when the streets are icy and wet, so be sure to opt for a trusty pair of boots that you know will withstand the weather.
